David’s Psalm of Thanksgiving^(A)

⁷On that very day, David composed this psalm of thanksgiving to the Lord just for^[a] Asaph and his companions:^[b]

⁸Give thanks to the Lord,
    calling on his name.
        Make what he has done known among the people.
⁹Sing to him,
    sing psalms to him,
        and think^[c] about all of his miraculous deeds.
